When teenager Zoe Vidal’s family restaurant is targeted by a crooked businessman, her latent magic sparks - forcing her to choose between destructive vengeance, or using her gift to nurture life.

Revive was the first comic project I was given full creative freedom to design the look, style, and feeling of the world from script to page.

While designing the cover, I wanted to reference one of my favorite murals: Justice as Protector and Avenger (1938), by New Deal artist Stefan Hirsch. Within the narrative, Zoe’s magic gives her the role of an arbiter of justice - one with the ultimate power of giving or taking life.
